Although I love fashion and trends and innovation, but I most comfortable wearing neutrals and classics. Here are my most favorite items and absolute basics. Many of these pieces are able to transition through the seasons, but this post is focused to Fall, my favorite season of the year.

I miss new york. Who doesn't after leaving there? It is an exhausting city with interesting people and constant entertainment. Luckily I don't miss it enough to want to move back just yet, and there are moments when I remember what I didn't love about the city.

I found this place called Union Station on my way to a discussion meeting last Thursday. After the meeting I went back. This gorgeous brick building felt enchanting with the sun setting behind it and I was so excited that I had my camera, fully charged on my to get a few shots of the architecture!

I could never take photos like this in nyc's crowded union square.

Hisako Sato's Drape Drape pattern book. I think it is beautiful, but I haven't made many patterns from it and don't have much of a desire to so I think I will pass on buying the second volume. Click 'Read more' to see the rest of the gorgeous patterns.

My wardrobe is pretty complete, but there are a few things I am still on the lookout for this Fall. Naturally, everything I add I have to fall in love with, must fit my current wardrobe, and must be within my budget. I probably should find a way to work color in too that isn't nail polish or lipstick...

I was been clearing out my stash and finishing unfinished projects a few weeks ago, and finally posted a few on Burdastyle. Although my sewing has slowed down quite a bit, I am not officially on a hiatus- yet =)

Doesn't this fabric look like ceramic tiles??! I love it, I am planning a summery little number. Something that will go perfectly with my Indiana Jones hat.
